GE, Schneider Electric avoid tariffs, receive insights into Trump trade policy

The U.S. International Trade Commission received just two petitions to investigate trade policy infractions in July. That was the lowest since January 2019 and may reflect uncertainties about the Biden administration’s position on tariffs. The ITC also released four reports covering section 232 (national security) investigations launched by the Trump administration covering titanium sponge, transformer parts, uranium, and vanadium.
